A/Prof Leeanne Grigg is Head of the Adult Congenital Cardiac Service, Director of Cardiology and Divisional Director of Cardiovascular, Renal and Endocrine Services at Royal Melbourne Hospital. The Adult Congenital Cardiac Service at RMH currently cares for ~ 3,500 complex patients. There is also a Combined RMH/Royal Women’s Hospital Cardiac Pregnancy Service with a monthly outpatient clinic. Although most of the patients in the Cardiac Pregnancy Service have congenital heart disease there are also a number of patients with rheumatic heart disease. A/Prof Grigg’s research and teaching also centres on congenital heart disease and cardiac disease in pregnancy.
